Saints fans out in force to push team to Wembley

Fans turned up long before kick off to welcome Saints and Boro to St Mary's.
Roads were closed to make space for the throngs of fans, before supporters began letting off flares.

Saints fans were out in force on Tuesday night to cheer their team on to Wembley in the second leg of the Championship play-off semi final.

Thousands of supporters greeted the squad coaches as they arrived outside St Mary's Stadium in the Chapel area of Southampton.

Saints beat Middlesbrough 2-1 after extra time, and are now due to face Hull City on Saturday 23 May.
