Man being treated in hospital after serious assault
GoogleA man has been taken to hospital after a serious assault in Hucknall.
Nottinghamshire Police said a man in his 30s was found injured in Nabbs Lane shortly before 01:00 BST on Monday.
His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering in nature, the force added.
Police believe he was assaulted during an earlier altercation at a roundabout in Watnall Road, before driving to Nabbs Lane.
Officers have appealed to anyone who witnessed a confrontation between two vehicles in the Lovesey Avenue and Watnall Road area to contact the force.
Det Insp Vincent Clark said: "This was a serious assault that left the victim requiring emergency medical treatment.
"As we work to understand the sequence of events before he was found injured, we'd like to hear from anyone who saw or heard an altercation at the roundabout at the end of Lovesey Avenue."
