Water flows through town centre after pipe bursts

Video showed water flowing down a main road in Ipswich town centre after a pipe burst.

The force of the water moved pavement slabs and saw a torrent flowing down Crown Street, closing one lane to traffic and flooding a burger bar.

Suffolk Police and the fire service have both been in attendance since about 07:15 BST.

Homes in the Norwich Road and Hanford Road areas of the town were without supplies or had low pressure, Anglian Water said.
