Watch: Farmers and fire crews tackle crop fire
A group of farmers worked alongside the fire service to tackle a large grassland crop blaze which damaged about 30 acres of land.
Crews from Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire fire and rescue services were sent to the Tetworth Hall Estate, near Gamlingay in Cambridgeshire, on Sunday.
On social media, Drone Photos Sandy said it was alerted at about 18:30 BST to a "rather sizeable grassland crop fire" and offered the use of its drone to view the affected area and show ground fire commanders where it was spreading.
Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service said the fire spread to grass, trees and hedgerows due to the wind.
Ten hose reels and beaters were used to put it out and prevent it from spreading to nearby houses and buildings.
Drone Photos Sandy added: "Local farmers used their own tractors with water trailers to fight spreading fire too.
"Luckily no harm to any persons. Amazing work by our fire services and local farmers."
The fire was scaled down at about 19:20 and was extinguished after 20:00.
Farmers also helped extinguish another fire that broke out in a field on Sawtry Way in Wyton, Cambridgeshire, at about 20:15 on Sunday.
Three crews from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service attended and farm staff used a tractor and plough to make a firebreak.
The service said approximately 20 acres of standing crop was alight when crews arrived and the fire was rapidly spreading, but they managed to put it out at about 21:40.
