Watch: Referee's error causes FA Cup controversy

Video has emerged of the confusing moment that led to the Football Association ruling that an FA Cup tie must be replayed.

Norfolk side Mulbarton Wanderers thought they had advanced to the third qualifying round with a 2-1 win at London club Woodford Town.

However, the result was scrapped after it emerged that the referee had made a mistake with the game at 0-0, when Woodford had a penalty disallowed for their players encroaching.

The game was restarted with a free-kick for Mulbarton, rather than a retake for Woodford.

As a result of the error, the game will be replayed in Norfolk this evening (19:45 BST kick-off).
