Emergency rescue services say their operations are being impacted by higher fuel prices.
The charity says it was paying 66p per litre for fuel in February but is now paying £1.09 per litre.
Emergency services were alerted to a collision on the A658 near Knaresborough at 07:40 GMT on Monday.
People are advised to stay warm and safe while out walking during the winter period.
The parade will start in Foxholes and make it way through the Yorkshire Wolds on Sunday 14 December.
