Sir Jeffrey, 62, is accused of 18 offences, including one count of rape, while Lady Donaldson, 59, faces five charges relating to aiding and abetting.
No new trial date has been fixed.
It will take place on 20 October and determine whether their joint trial can proceed as planned on 3 November at Newry Crown Court.
The 59-year-old is a co-accused in a sex offences case involving her husband, the former DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson.
Reviews of Lady Eleanor Donaldson's health will be heard at the end of the month and in August.
