Attempted murder arrest after man stabbed
Philip MitchellA man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was stabbed in Mansfield.
Nottinghamshire Police said it was called to Littleworth at 21:30 BST on Monday following reports of a serious assault.
A man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries from a single stab wound and was taken to hospital where he remains, the force added.
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possessing Class B drugs.
Det Insp James Oakton said: "Our investigation into this stabbing remains ongoing though, so - as always - we'd ask that anyone who knows what happened or has any other information that could assist our inquiries shares this with police immediately.
"We also want to hear from anyone who may have captured dashcam, CCTV, doorbell, or mobile phone footage of the incident."
