Drivers face two-hour delay on M6 as roadworks overrun

Drivers have been warned of two hour delays on the M6 due to roadworks overrunning.

Three lanes on the southbound M6 in Cheshire between Junction 21A and Junction 21 in Warrington are closed.

The roadworks, which were due to end at 06:00 overran, National Highways said.

It said lane closures were in the process of being removed but delays could be more than two hours with six miles of congestion.
