Teenager arrested after Belfast stabbing released on bail

A 17-year-old who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, following a stabbing in west Belfast on Sunday, has been released on bail.

Police received a report at about 21:20 BST of an ongoing disturbance in the Suffolk Glen area.

Officers attended the scene, where a number of people were fighting in the street.

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with non life-threatening stab wounds, where he remains in stable condition.
