Rider dies after crash at motocross track

A 23-year-old cyclist died after a crash on a motocross track.

The rider, from Kent, was seriously injured while riding during an open session at Flackwell Heath Moto Park in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, at about 10:00 BST on Saturday.

Thames Valley Police said he was taken to hospital but died on Monday.

No other riders or vehicles were believed to have been involved, the force added.

Det Insp Phil Turner-Robson said: "The session was open to a number of riders and spectators, and we believe there may be people who were present who have not yet spoken to police.

"If you have any information that could assist our investigation, including photographs, videos or helmet camera footage from the track that day, please contact us."
