Police say to drive with caution after car fire

Minor damage has been caused to a road following a vehicle fire in Guernsey.

Guernsey Police said the blaze closed Route du Picquerel in Vale in both directions earlier.

The road reopened at about 10:30 BST after police and the fire service dealt with the incident.

Guernsey Civil Protection advised there was some minor damage, adding: "The road is passable, so please drive with caution."
