Suspected murder arrest after woman found dead

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder following the death of a 51-year-old woman.

Dorset Police received a report at 02:25 BST on Wednesday that the body of a woman had been found at an address in Paddington Grove, Bournemouth. A cordon remains in place at the address.

The force confirmed it had arrested 56-year-old Richard Sean Ball on suspicion of murder and he remains in custody.

Police had arrested a woman in her 30s from Bournemouth on suspicion of assisting an offender but she was subsequently released under investigation.
