Cosy Toes Nursery is in Middleton

A three-year-old boy is fighting for his life after an incident at a nursery in Greater Manchester, police said.

Emergency services were called to Cosy Toes Nursery on Mainway East in Middleton at about 15:50 GMT on 2 November.

The boy was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Greater Manchester Police said his parents had been informed and were with him.

Cosy Toes runs four nurseries in Middleton, providing childcare for children aged up to five.

Police said no arrests have been made and inquiries were ongoing.

The nursery has been contacted for comment.
