Man dies in 'head-on' crash near village
GoogleA man died in a two-car crash near a village in Nottinghamshire.
Nottinghamshire Police said it was called to the A631, close to the roundabout junction with the A161 near Beckingham, at 19:00 BST on Saturday following reports of a head-on crash involving a Skoda and a BMW.
The force said a 25-year-old man who was driving the Skoda was pronounced dead at the scene. Both passengers of the BMW were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Officers said inquiries were ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened and have urged anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
Det Sgt Charlotte Henson said: "Our thoughts are with this man's family and friends as we continue to investigate the circumstances of this crash.
"As part of our inquiries, we are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to please come forward.
"We'd like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage or who saw the vehicles involved in the moments before the crash."
