Three in hospital after riverside e-scooter crash

A 32-year-old man and a seven-year-old boy have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving an e-scooter on a footpath in Hull.

Humberside Police said they were travelling along the riverbank between Holderness Road and Saltshouse Road before colliding with a pedestrian at about 09:30 BST on Sunday.

The pedestrian, a 46-year-old man, was also taken to hospital for treatment, with minor injuries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.
