CCTV released after Steel City derby trouble

A group of men seen hurling traffic cones and flares at each other before the Steel City derby in Sheffield are being sought by police.

Officers in South Yorkshire want to speak to the six men pictured, who they believe can help with their investigation into the incident on 22 February.

A spokesperson for the force said that between 11:35 and 11:45 GMT they received reports of public order offences, including the throwing of objects, on Bramall Lane before the Sheffield United v Wednesday game. The Blades went on to win 2-1.

Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with South Yorkshire Police.
