Elderly man dies in crash at motorway services

A man in his 80s has died after being hit by a car at a motorway service station.

He was struck by a blue Ford Explorer at the M3's southbound Fleet services in Hampshire at about 12:44 BST on Thursday.

The car also hit a woman in her 70s, who was seriously injured, as well as three parked cars.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is appealing for witnesses.
