Ferry sailings resume after generator fault fixed
BBCPassenger ferry sailings between the Isle of Man and Liverpool have resumed after a generator fault caused disruption.
All of Thursday's crossings by the fast craft Manannan were scrapped, with those due to travel offered the chance to transfer to the Manxman's Heysham journeys.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company said its engineers had now resolved the issue and services would operate as scheduled.
It was the second time during the 2025 fast craft season that the vessel was hit by generator issues, with sailings cancelled for two days last month.
