Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a man and woman in East Sussex have released CCTV images of a possible witness.

Adrian Horton, 66, and his friend Uschi Schild, 46, were found dead with multiple knife wounds at Horton's home in Seven Acre Close, St Leonards, on 30 June.

Sean Gray, 58, of no fixed address, has been charged with their murder and will face trial in November.

Sussex Police have said that the man in the images is being sought solely to help them with their inquiries and is not suspected of any involvement in the incident.

Det Supt Jay Mendis-Gunasekera said: "Our investigation continues at pace, and we are keen to speak with this man as we believe he may have information that could assist us.

"I want to stress that he is only being sought as a witness and we are not looking for further suspects.

"If you recognise him, or if you are the person shown in the CCTV image, please contact the force as soon as possible", he added.
