Summer activities ranging from pony trekking and K-pop dancing, to Nerf challenges and graffiti workshops are on offer to East Yorkshire children this summer.

The activities have been unveiled by East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC), with free places available to those in receipt of free school meals and council tax support.

Councillor Victoria Aitken, from ERYC, said: "Wherever families live, there will be something for children of all ages to enjoy within their community."

There is a dedicated SEND programme available, which includes BMX riding, farm experiences and glow sports.

Aitken added: "From sports, music and dance to craft, nature activities and animal encounters – there's lots of fun opportunities to keep children and young people active through the summer holidays."

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme for summer includes more than 460 activities, at numerous locations across the East Riding, and will be suitable for those aged from four to 16.
