How are your trains affected by the timetable change?
Getty ImagesA new timetable will come into effect across the railway network from Sunday.
The changes will see additional services, longer trains and revised schedules introduced across the South East.
Services on Southeastern, Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) and South Western Railway (SWR) will all have some immediate changes, while operators also pledged additional future services.
We took a look at the key changes and how this might affect your journey.
Southeastern

- Additional services between London Charing Cross and Maidstone East between 15:30 BST and 20:30, to ensure services run every half hour.
- Other trains on the Maidstone East-London Victoria route have had stopping patterns amended, to increase and improve services.
- High speed services between Faversham and London St Pancras have been increased to a half hour frequency at the busiest times of day on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Until 6 September, some services have been added between London and Dover/Ramsgate (via Whitstable, Herne Bay, Margate and Broadstairs) - while others will have more coaches.
- On Fridays and Saturdays, a new service will run between Margate and Gillingham, departing Margate at 23:15, enabling people to get home from Dreamland. The 23:16 Ramsgate - Rochester service is also scheduled to now have more coaches.
- From December, the operator says it will be significantly increasing services on its metro routes, with most stations getting a service every 15 minutes.
Govia Thameslink Railway

- A later last train will run to Three Bridges from London Victoria, departing the capital at 00:08.
- The 05:00 from Brighton to Ore will now call at Cooden Beach at 06:01 before continuing towards Ore.
- Over the summer school holiday, GTR says customers could see a combination of earlier trains running between Gatwick Airport and London Victoria to make it easier for holiday makers to travel by train, more services during the middle of the day for some stations to make it easier for people to go on days out.
- A small number of services will also be withdrawn on some routes where the number of peak time or off-peak passengers falls over the school holidays.
- Some Southern and Thameslink services have been subject to minor timing changes to improve punctuality.
- There are no significant changes to the Gatwick Express.
GTR will transfer into public ownership from 31 May. However, timetables, station facilities and ticketing terms will remain unchanged - while employees will automatically transfer across to the publicly-owned company with no impact on their roles.
South Western Railway

- Between Monday and Saturday, the 22:50 service from London Waterloo to Salisbury will not call at Woking.
- Between Monday and Friday, the 15:15 service from Alton to London Waterloo will depart at 14:59, additionally calling at Weybridge and Walton-on-Thames.
- Some other changes have had their times changed slightly.
