Man, 20, dead and three seriously injured in crash
GoogleA 20-year-old man has died after a car crash in Gwynedd.
Three other people were seriously injured in the incident on the A499 near Pwllheli, between Llanaelhearn and Y Ffôr.
The crash happened at about 22:10 BST on Saturday and involved a black Ford Fiesta and a red Audi A3.
The injured people remain in hospital, and the road was closed overnight while police investigations took place.
North Wales Police lead investigating officer Sgt Duncan Logan offered his condolences to the family, and said he would "like to personally thank all those who stopped to assist at the scene and support emergency services.
"I am urging anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have been travelling or walking in the vicinity and has mobile or dash-cam footage, to come forward as soon as possible."
The Welsh Ambulance Service said two patients were taken to hospital by air ambulance and one patient by road to hospital.
