Appeal as car hits trees in serious crash on A38
GooglePolice are appealing for information after a serious crash on a busy dual carriageway in Derby.
Emergency services were called to the A38, between the A50 Toyota Island and the A516, at about 23:00 BST on Saturday.
Derbyshire Police said a red Hyundai car, containing five people, left the road and crashed into trees. The force has not released details on their condition.
The carriageway was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the crash, but it has since been reopened.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any dash cam footage has been urged to contact police.
