Firefighters called to blaze at disused building
Firefighters have been called to a blaze at a disused building in Ilkeston.
Crews from Ilkeston, Ascot Drive and Long Eaton, as well as Eastwood, Stockhill and Stapleford in Nottinghamshire, were sent to Heanor Road at 04:46 BST on Wednesday.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said six fire crews, an aerial ladder platform and an incident command unit were currently at the scene.
People close to the scene have been advised to keep their windows and doors closed and to avoid the area while emergency services deal with the incident.

Derbyshire Police said Heanor Road is currently closed from Grey Meadow Road to the roundabout at Rutland Street.
The road closures have affected bus services, and people are being urged to check with providers for updates.
The service said emergency services are set to remain at the scene and firefighting operations are expected to continue throughout the day.
There is currently no impact on other buildings, local businesses or services, including schools, it added.
