A slip road on the M5 has reopened after a lorry overturned, leading to long delays.

Avon and Somerset Police said it was called to a crash on the southbound junction 21 slip road, near Weston-super-Mare, at 13:10 BST on Monday.

The force said the lorry driver suffered injuries which were not believed to be serious.

Delays of well over an hour and six miles of congestion were reported, with traffic cleared later in the evening.
