Man denies sexually assaulting two girls at hotel
BBCA man who was charged with raping a 15-year-old girl after police were called to a hotel in Kenilworth has pleaded not guilty.
Syrian national Ahmad Hania, 27, was assisted by an Arabic interpreter at Warwick Crown Court on Thursday as he entered not guilty pleas to six counts of sexual assault.
The charges all relate to a date in August this year when Warwickshire Police were called to a hotel in Kenilworth following reports that two girls, who cannot be identified, had been sexually assaulted.
The indictment against Hania, of King Edward Road, Nuneaton, alleges that he kissed and sexually touched both alleged victims without their consent and committed an offence of rape against one of them.
Hania had his bail extended by Judge Tom Rochford and was told his trial, lasting five days, will start on 1 August 2028.
The judge told Hania: "There are likely to be hearings before then which you must attend. You will have the right to give evidence at your trial.
"You will continue bail on the same conditions as before."
