Arson arrests after garden fire spreads to homes
BBCTwo men have been arrested on suspicion of arson after a garden fire spread to a number of properties in Derby.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 13:16 BST on Saturday to reports of a blaze on Normanton Road.
Three flats were damaged, some of them unoccupied, and no injuries were reported.
In an update, Derbyshire Police said two men, 57 and 53, had been arrested.
A small number of nearby properties were initially evacuated, and residents have since returned home, the force added.
Adjoining roads were closed for several hours but have since reopened, and a police cordon at the address where the fire started has now been removed.
Crews from Long Eaton, Heanor and Kingsway, along with Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Highfields and Stapleford, attended the incident.
