Two lorry drivers have been taken to hospital after their vehicles collided on the A9 near Dunblane.

The incident, which happened at about 04:20, forced the closure of the southbound carriageway between the A820 and the Keir Roundabout.

Police Scotland said the carriageway was closed to allow for vehicle recovery.

The road reopened fully at about 15:00.
