Boy, 14, and woman arrested over death of man

A 14-year-old boy and a woman, aged 47, have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man on the Isle of Wight.

Police said officers were called by ambulance crews to a report of a stabbing at a house in Downsview, Sandown, on Thursday at about 19:10 BST.

A man in his 50s with serious injuries died later in hospital.

The woman and boy, who were also arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, remain in police custody.
