Motorway set to be closed most of day, police say

A major route into Manchester is likely to be closed for most of Tuesday.

Greater Manchester Police said the M67 in Tameside was closed in both directions between Junction 3 (Hyde) and Junction 4 (Hattersley) due to an an "ongoing incident"

The force said the motorway "will be closed in both directions for majority of the day".

It added that motorists should find other routes.
