Man in his 90s arrested after crash with motorbike

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a collision with a motorcyclist.

Norfolk Police said it was called to a collision between a grey Renault Captur and a red Triumph motorcycle on the A10 on Lynn Road in Denver at about 10:58 BST on Sunday.

The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 70s, was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries.

The driver of the car, a man in his 90s, was arrested and taken to King's Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning and has been released under investigation.

The road was reopened at 18:00, and the force wants to speak to anyone who witnessed the vehicles in the moments leading up to the collision or the collision itself.
