Two teenagers arrested after bus station stabbings

Two teenagers have been arrested after two boys were stabbed at a Wirral bus station.

Merseyside Police said officers responded to reports of youths fighting at the station in Telegraph Road, Heswall, at 18:30 BST on Saturday.

Police said one boy suffered a chest injury and the other a finger injury. They were taken to hospital for treatment.

The arrested boys are aged 15 and 17. Det Insp Steve Wilkinson said the possession of bladed weapons "can and does cause devastation".
