Your guide to Balloon Fiesta as programme launched
BBCThe countdown is on for the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, as the programme for the 48th edition is launched.
To mark the occasion on Wednesday morning a dozen balloons were inflated at Ashton Court Estate, the festival's home.
Free-to-attend, the fiesta will take place from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 August.
Ben Hardy, executive director, Bristol International Balloon Fiesta said: "Bristol's passion for ballooning is as strong as ever, and we're hugely grateful."

When and where is the fiesta?
The event's organisers have revealed a new partnership agreement with Bristol City Council, granting use of the Ashton Court site for the foreseeable future.
Councillor Tony Dyer, leader of Bristol City Council, said he was "delighted" the council is able to "continue supporting this brilliant event".
"Hot air balloons have long been a defining feature of Bristol's skyline, and the International Balloon Fiesta brings this tradition to life each year," he said.
"I look forward to spotting some of our much-loved balloons on the horizon again soon," he added.
Do I need tickets?
The event is free-to-attend, but organisers charge for car parking to help cover operational costs.
Visitors can also purchase hospitality packages to help contribute to the not-for-profit organisation.

What can visitors expect this year?
As well as the mass ascents which have made the Fiesta famous across the city and beyond, crowds attending the festival can also expect to see the return of familiar favourites in the event calendar.
These include the popular Nightglow events on Friday and Saturday evenings, in which dozens of balloons inflate at dusk and use their burners to glow in time to music produced by BBC Radio Bristol.
The 'In the Clouds' immersive experience will also return, allowing visitors to step inside a cold-inflated balloon and learn more about the history of ballooning in Bristol.
Live acoustic music will fill the Moon Stage throughout the Fiesta, showcasing local talent, while younger visitors can head to the Brizzle Kicks Stage for daily children's entertainment ranging from magic shows to foam parties.
