More than 40 firefighters have tackled a large blaze affecting vehicles and tyres.

It broke out at a tyre yard in North Stifford, near Grays, Essex, shortly before 02:00 BST on Sunday.

Crews managed to bring the flames under control by 04:00.

An investigation was due to establish what caused the fire, a spokesman for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said.
