This morning will be dry with variable cloud. In the afternoon, it will become mostly sunny on the mainland for a time, but areas of low cloud will then move into the Isles and the eastern mainland.

Tonight

Tonight, the mainland will soon become cloudy as thick low cloud develops from the northeast. Patchy cloud and clear spells in the Isles. It will manage to stay dry for all.

Wednesday

Tomorrow will be dry and settled for all. There will be a mixture of variable cloud and sunny spells throughout the day. It will remain cool.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday

Trending milder on Thursday. In the mainland, morning mist and fog will soon be replaced by plenty of sunshine and just a few clouds to the east. Cloud will only hold onto Shetland. Settled on Friday with morning fog and sunshine later. The Isles will remain cloudy, however. On Saturday, it will be cloudier overall but mild with the chance of a few showers in places.
