    Manchester City boss Enzo Maresca, asked about his departure from Chelsea which left the club feeling 'let down': "I feel quite lucky in terms of my former clubs, Leicester and Chelsea. I think we did a great job at both clubs. The identity of the team and the success of the team was clear.

    "I feel very lucky to be part these clubs but today we are here and that is the most important thing. It is just about Manchester City. [I have] nothing to add.

    Enzo Maresca has just wrapped up his first press conference as Manchester City boss.

    He appeared relaxed and understood the pressure of succeeding Pep Guardiola, widely considered the greatest manager ever.

    As someone who called time on his own Chelsea career way before his contract was up, it was interesting that Maresca mentioned the fact that Manchester City have only had three coaches in 17 years, saying that was "not normal".

    He will surely understand the expectation at this club for managers to stick around...And succeed.

    He acknowledged the need to do a bit of transfer business but would not be drawn on the speculation around Rodri.

    Time will tell what the future holds for the Spaniard along with the likes of James Trafford and Jack Grealish.
