Skies will stay widely clear overnight and winds will also ease. It will also turn slightly chillier over the high ground by the early hours.

Plenty of sunshine to start the day tomorrow, continuing into the early afternoon. In the evening, it will become cloudy with scattered showers, many heavy and prolonged by the end of the day. Warmer.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday

A cloudy start on Saturday with areas of hill mist and fog. In the afternoon, some sunny glimpses will manage to break through the cloud. Cooler and overcast with light rain on Sunday morning. It will turn drier in the afternoon but the cloud will likely persist through the day and through much of Monday too. Some local drizzle is not ruled out on Monday.
