  6. Newton joins Wealdstone on loan from Gateshead

    Wealdstone have signed midfielder Tyrelle Newton on a season-long loan deal from Gateshead.

    The 22-year-old started his career at Luton Town and signed his first professional contract with the Hatters in 2022.

    He left the club as a free agent in 2024 and joined Gateshead where he has made 52 appearances, scoring four goals.

  19. Halifax sign Allen and Hill

    Halifax have signed Derby County midfielder Cruz Allen on a one-month loan deal and also added former Buxton forward Deniche Hill to their squad.

    Allen, 19, played against the Shaymen for Derby's under-21s in the National League Cup earlier this month.

    Hill, 22, played under Halifax boss John McGrath last season in National League North.

    Both players have been named on the bench for the game against Altrincham on Friday.

    The club have not disclosed the length of deal that Hill has signed.

  21. Altrincham sign veteran striker Hemmings

    Kane Hemmings has scored 136 goals in 431 league appearances across his career

    Altrincham have signed experienced striker Kane Hemmings.

    The 34-year-old spent last season in League Two with Barrow but failed to score in 14 league appearances.

    He started his senior career with Rangers and has also had spells with Barnsley, Dundee, Oxford, Notts County, Burton, Tranmere, Stevenage and Crewe.

    Hemmings could make his debut for Altrincham, who have not disclosed the length of his deal, against Halifax in the National League on Friday.
