As a Fulham supporter, I don't get it. The summer signings are good and we are showing more in attack. Defence and midfield are ok. What are we missing here? We can draw against strong sides but cannot defeat weak ones.

This is just the fourth time that Fulham have failed to win any of their opening five games in a top-flight campaign (with 1951-52, 2011-12 and 2020-21), while they have been relegated in two of the previous three (51-52 and 20-21).
Fulham are just one of three Premier League teams that haven't been able to secure a win yet.
But they came oh so close yesterday in the draw with Manchester United.

Liverpool looking a work on progress, yet unlike United and Spurs, they do look like a team moving through a coherent process. Notable mentions to Jacquet, Araujo and Nyon, unsolved as yet is Wirtz. Arsenal are very far from invincible.

He is trying to build something, it will take time. Taking the emotion out of it, looking at the stats, they have had more shots in three of the past four games, more possession and more touches in the opposition box.
They are positives, be patient, the metrics are there to say he will turn it around. They need to be patient with Roberto de Zerbi, with all the signings, it takes time to gel and get to know each other.
This is Spurs' worst start to a Premier League season after five games, with two points and a goal difference of -6, eclipsing their 2008-09 start (2 points, -3 goal difference).
Spurs sit bottom of the Premier League table going into the three-week break - not what you'd have expected after they splashed £300m on new players in the summer.
After narrowly avoiding relegation last season, it seems like another fight for survival is on the cards.

This morning I feel validated by my initial predictions that Arsenal did not adequately strengthen their forward line and Man City have enough quality across the pitch to win the league this season. Oh and Chelsea have confirmed that they cannot score more goals than they concede.

Spurs didnt play that badly for large parts of that game (particularly first half). Crying out for a striker though - should have gone all out to get Osimhen. They will come good given time.

Spurs spend all that money and it doesn't make them any better. Maybe it even makes them worse. Definitely going down this season.
