Highlights: Ipswich produce late fightback to beat Fulham
Ipswich scored two late goals to secure a dramatic victory and leave Alvaro Arbeloa still searching for his first win as Fulham boss.
The visitors had looked on course to secure a win in the league at the sixth time of asking when Ryan Sessegnon drove low from outside the area into the back of the net 10 minutes into the second half.
Ipswich battled hard to get back into the game as the unmarked Emersonn crashed a header against the post, before Daizen Maeda was denied a penalty when he went down inside the box under a challenge.
However, the hosts levelled with just two minutes to go as Abdoul Ouattara struck from 25 yards.
From there, they pushed for the winner, which duly arrived in the 92nd minute when Dara O'Shea headed in from a set-piece to send Portman Road wild.
Fulham remain in the bottom three and have just two points from six games while a third win of the season for Ipswich moved them up to ninth.
Gary O'Neil post-match interview - Ipswich Town v Fulham
There were joyous scenes at the final whistle as the home fans celebrated what they will see as an important win, even at this early stage of the season.
With Fulham having failed to win any of their first five games and with Manchester City up next, this will have been a fixture they will hoped to get all three points from.
For so long that looked unlikely, particularly after Emersonn hit the woodwork despite being unmarked inside the box, while they were perhaps unfortunate for Maeda's penalty shout to be waved away.
But they kept plugging away and got their reward with the two dramatic late goals that means they have won half of their games so far on their return to the Premier League.
Top-flight survival will be their target this season and their fans will be encouraged that their wins have come against Sunderland, Crystal Palace and now Fulham - sides they will likely believe could also be near the bottom of the league this term.
Alvaro Arbeloa post-match interview - Ipswich Town v Fulham
There will have been a horrible sense of deja vu for Fulham fans and their manager as they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Against Manchester United - the final game before the recent international break - they had also looked on course to take the three points, only for a last-gasp Matheus Cunha deflected strike to deny them.
They had deserved the win in that game and the same could be said for this fixture, with Sessegnon's goal having come after they had created the better chances in the first half.
But the heartbreaking outcome for them will show that Fulham need to learn to become more clinical, so that they are not heading into the final few minutes of matches defending a one-goal lead.
It will provide another important lesson for Arbeloa, although the pressure on the Fulham boss to secure that elusive first league win will be increasing.
