Sneh Rana is getting great returns with her biggest spinning deliveries. Both of her wickets today have been with balls turning in excess of 3º, with the one that dismissed Ecclestone turning the most.

A slow and loopy delivery from Rana which gave it the chance to spin. It was ripping through the gate but it certainly moved through the gate and hit the middle stump. It was no where near where she thought it would have been and she was a mile off.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 50.2 overs

    Villiers b Rana 10 (Eng 159-8)

Another bowling change, another wicket with the second ball.

Sneh Rana replaces Deepti Sharma and the off-spinner takes out Mady Villiers, who was looking to strike towards mid-on, bowling the all-rounder through the gate.

That was pretty reminiscent of Villers' dismissal of Harmanpreet Kaur in the first innings.

Issy Wong comes to the crease and plays out the rest of Sayali Satghare's over without scoring.

This is the first time she's batted in Tests - she didn't get to do so in her previous appearance against South Africa.

It is a very quick walk off from Sophie Ecclestone because the keeper didn't react with a celebration. Nice bowling and maybe Ecclestone was feeling confident after her last ball. England are in trouble now.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 49.2 overs

    Ecclestone c Bhatia b Satghare 11 (Eng 159-7)

    Four and out.

Sayali Satghare replaces Kranti Gaud and she has a wicket with her second ball.

Sophie Ecclestone drives an opening loosener to the cover boundary, but Ecclestone offers an edge to the next delivery and Yastika Bhatia dives forward to complete the catch.

  11. Eng 155-6published at 49 overs

All very steady going at moment, singles here and there.

Three from this Deepti Sharma over, in fact - the spinner has figures of 0-10 from seven overs with two maidens.

  12. Eng 152-6published at 48 overs

Kranti Gaud continues and Sophie Ecclestone inside edges her opening delivery, taking a single on the leg side.

Mady Villiers faces the rest of the over without scoring.

They don't have a clue about playing longer format cricket as they never practice it. It should therefore never be a surprise when they don't perform whilst playing in one day/T20 mode.

  14. Eng 151-6published at 47 overs

150 up for England as Mady Villiers turns Deepti Sharma through mid-wicket for a single.

The run-rate of the innings is 3.21 runs an over, India were around the 3.8 mark on the conclusion of their first outing.

All India need to do, is continue to pile on the pressure, which they have done well to maintain so far.

  16. Not outpublished at 46 overs

    Eng 149-6

    No, not a chance.

Umpire's call on impact, and flying way past the leg stump.

That was the penultimate delivery of the over, and Ecclestone inside edges the last ball onto her pads.

  17. India reviewpublished at 14:07 BST

    Oh, what's this now.

A bit of a surprise review from Harmanpreet Kaur, after Kranti Gaud strikes Sophie Ecclestone on the pad.

This looks like it's heading down leg, but the India skipper has decided to take a punt with one of her two remaining reviews.

It has taken a whole for England to get to 150 but I am sure they will get further for certain.

Disciplined line and length is paying off for Kranti Gaud - 38% of all Gaud's deliveries in this Test match have pitch on both a good line and length.

This is the third highest in a single match of all visiting seamers in England since such records began.
