Wales lock Jorja Aiono has signed a new contract to stay with Premiership Women's Rugby side Gloucester-Hartpury.

The 19-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2025-26, winning her first international caps for Wales during the Six Nations.

The second-row forward, who is a student at Hartpury University, also made her first appearance for her club in June.

"She has all the attributes we're looking for to add to our back five," said head of rugby Dan Murphy.

"She's athletic, works tirelessly around the pitch, and has shown real composure in stepping up to international rugby at such a young age.

"Her performances for Wales this year have demonstrated the quality she possesses, but we also know there's plenty more to come."

The club have not disclosed the length of Aiono's new contract.
