Carter excited to prove she belongs in Wales squad

Goal defence Millie Carter says she wants to prove she belongs in the Wales squad in their World Cup qualifiers against Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Scotland.

Carter, 24, missed out on the Commonwealth Games in the summer where Wales finished 10th.

After battling back into the team she's determined to show what she can do, crediting a season with Manchester Thunder's NXT Gen team in transforming her as a player.
