Mercedes' George Russell, who finished fourth in the sprint race, speaking to Sky Sports: "The end of lap one was pretty cool: overtaking two cars in two corners. But then with the energy battle, it's quite difficult. Qualifying, I think, is key. If I was a couple of places higher up the order, it would've been a different race."
On if he is surprised Mercedes' opponents have made gains: "It was a bit of a surprise. But I think in the race, if I could've held on to P3 after lap one, I think I would've comfortably finished P3.
"For sure, some of the opponents have moved forward a little bit. But I think in the race pace, we still have a little bit extra."

Tom Watson's the operations manager for the British Grand Prix which, in his words, involves "making sure that anything from a big screen to a toilet goes where it needs to go". In fact, he knows where "every single toilet" is on site. But that's not the only thing.
"There's thousands of signs that go up, and there's bound to be an arrow that faces the wrong way or something," he says. "That's probably the one thing that keeps me up the most."
Florence Sheppard's job is more about locating talent than toilets - she's the entertainment co-ordinator. She's looked after stars such as DJ Fatboy Slim and singer Sam Fender, who she says was a "really nice guy" when he performed at Silverstone.
She had to find him somewhere quiet to do his vocal warm-ups. "There were some weird sounds coming out of that room," she says.
"Ten minutes later, I saw him perform on the stage, so that was a really cool moment."
McLaren's Lando Norris, who finishes third in the sprint: "There are a couple of little things we can certainly do better for later [qualifying], and better into tomorrow but no, it was a good race, good points.
"I gave it everything I could because George [Russell] was catching me pretty quickly at the end. It was a good race and congrats to these two as well."
Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton after finishing second in the sprint: "Big thank you for everyone that's here. The crowd is amazing. It's the most energy I've seen in the pit lane before."
"Tough race to keep the Mercedes behind. I did say that was potentially the case yesterday and obviously with it being so windy today, a big, big headwind down the back straight, he came flying past. I was pushing as hard as I could, I gave it absolutely everything. But well done to Kimi and we've got work to do to try and close that gap so we can keep up."
On Antonelli's overtake: "Mercedes are particularly quick up to Turn Six, so I had to use the boost there. Once Antonelli got the overtake mode, I couldn't hold him back. I knew he was coming.”

Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli, who wins the British Grand Prix sprint race: "It was a very fun first laps with Lewis [Hamilton]. We were pushing very hard.
"When I got into overtake, I knew my chance was coming. And then out of [Turn] Four, that lap was very close. I went alongside at Brooklands and used the boost and I tried to wait and obviously got into Stowe and used everything I had, then I was able to overtake.
"From that point on, I just tried to get into my rhythm and tried to break the overtake that he had and then just tried to bring it home.
"The momentum is there and we're doing a great job together with the team. But of course, we can't let our guard down, or lower, because Lewis and Ferrari are doing an incredible job, Red Bull and McLaren are coming, and also George [Russell] is super-quick. So we just need to keep raising the bar and keep delivering performances."
