PSG enter talks for Villa defender Digne

Paris St-Germain have opened talks to re-sign Aston Villa full-back Lucas Digne.
The 32-year-old is believed to have a release clause in his contract, reportedly worth over £8.5m.
Digne would welcome a return to the back-to-back Champions League winners, who he was with between 2013 and 2016.
If the transfer ends up happening, Digne - who is with France at the World Cup and set to face Spain in the semi-finals on Tuesday - would compete with Nuno Mendes for a place in the starting line-up at Parc des Princes.
His departure would be another blow for Villa after midfielder Youri Tielemans entered advanced talks with Manchester United, external. The Belgian is also understood to have a £35m release clause in his contract.
Villa have so far signed Modou Keba Cisse from Austrian club LASK and seen Donyell Malen join Roma after a loan spell, with Enzo Barrenechea and Louie Barry also leaving on permanent deals.
Digne joined Villa from Everton in 2022 for £25m and has made 182 appearances for Unai Emery's Europa League winners.
