Andy Rinomhota has signed a new one-year contract to stay with Reading for the 2026-27 season.
The 29-year-old midfielder returned to Reading last November and only made three appearances in an injury-hit spell.
But despite that, the Zimbabwe international will remain part of Leam Richardson's squad.
Rinomhota came through the Royals' youth set-up and made 139 appearances for the first team before he had three years at Cardiff City.
"This club means a lot to me and I'm looking forward to getting a full pre-season under my belt and helping the team achieve its goals this season," he told the Royals' website, external.
