Cambridge sign AFC Wimbledon defender Bauer

Newly-promoted Cambridge United have signed experienced central defender Patrick Bauer on a free transfer from fellow League One side AFC Wimbledon.
The 33-year-old, who was out of contract with the Dons, has agreed a one-year deal.
Bauer made 30 appearances for Wimbledon in all competitions last season after joining them following spells with Preston and Charlton.
"He brings the experience of the position, leadership qualities, and a real desire to help us develop and improve as a football club in this division," U's boss Neil Harris told the club website., external
