Fleadh Folk celebrates Ulster’s shared musical roots, where traditional Irish, Ulster-Scots and contemporary folk artists come together to celebrate music across traditions, generations and languages.
From the Lambeg and bodhrán rhythms to fiddle tunes, pipes and song and dance, artists and musicians join forces and collaborate in a concert at the Mandela Hall in Belfast, hosted by Jane Rea and John Toal.
Featured artists include the Blackwater Céilí Band with Andy McGregor and friends, the Reuben Agnew Trio, the McKenna Family, Gino Lupari, Dermot Byrne and Stevie Dunne, and a performance by Foy Vance recorded especially for the programme.
