Relationships and rivalries bring humour and horror to a community centre’s last Christmas before gentrification. Staff and regulars aspire to better lives, but heartbreak awaits.

In the run-down Toronto district of Scarborough the lives of assorted residents are linked by the Morningside Community Centre, closing to be replaced by condominiums as part of encroaching gentrification. Personal struggles, relationships, jealousies and societal challenges are explored in a place where senseless gun violence is also on the rise. Tragedy is inevitable.
